Anastasiia Klymova

Anastasiia Klymova is a passionate cinematographer, who is intrigued by delicacy of expression. She aims to translate it primarily through unconventional framing and close-up shots. She was born and raised in Ukraine, then moved to Poland where she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing. She now resides in Canada to pursue a career in film. She finds beauty in small human moments, which are so often left behind the curtain of something more grandeur. Anastasiia fascinates all art forms associated with cinema and believes that their presence in her life will make her a better storyteller. She strives to become a director to share the captivating beauty of Ukrainian culture. Anastasiia is grateful to have had the opportunity of being the Director of Photography in Ella, Ella. She is excited to be a Director in an upcoming short film in Winter 2023.
