All About Ella
Ella Mayo (she/her) is a goofy, 7-foot-tall drag sensation from downtown Toronto. Ella’s drag takes inspiration ranging from Broadway musicals of the mid-20th century to the supermodels and beauty icons of the 1990s, all with a campy, glittering spin. Her backgrounds in beauty, music theatre, and dance influence her performances, from weird and wacky to captivating and glamorous. As a trans artist, Ella takes great pride in representing her community, and she is basically the turquoise stripe in the trans flag that comes to life. Ella is also the co-producer of Saturnalia, a recurring Zodiac variety show featuring performers of all gender expressions and drag styles from across the city, and she regularly performs throughout Toronto’s Queer Village and at venues across the West End. You can find Ella Mayo being an absolute airhead on Instagram, TikTok and Twitter, @ellamayoreally.
